The Kick A** show is a juried exhibition held at Texas Christian University in February, during which an outside juror selects submitted student work to include in an exhibition.

In 2026, my infographic titled “The Money Game” was selected for entry and awarded the “on the money” award for best in show.

In 2025, I had two typography projects chosen to be included.

My Doomsday Film Festival Poster was accepted in the juried Texas Association of Schools of Art’s ARTOVATION 26 competition. ARTOVATION is a statewide Texas online art and design competition open to all students in 2-year and 4-year colleges/universities, as well as graduate students. Catey Arnold, Curator of Exhibitions at the Rockport Center for the Arts in Rockport, Texas, was the juror for the competition.

Awarded to students in the College of Fine Arts with excellent grade point average.

Earned an award for a functional level of proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Awarded to students in KSPA’s contest for ability to design, write, or photograph based on a prompt. First place in news page design regionals in 2021 and second place in 2022.
